Clothing
3 pairs trousers
3 shirts
5 t-shirts
5 pairs socks
5 sets underwear
1 pair of shorts
1 pair of boots
1 pair trainers
1 lightweight nylon jacket
It's not a lot is it? Anytime I travel I always pack far too much. With this amount of clothes I'll have to do a washing
fairly frequently, but at least I won't break my back heaving it all around.
Other items
2 Lightweight trek towels
These are excellent, both quick drying, compact and able to fully dry you after a shower.
One swiss army knife (with about 50 functions)
I shall mostly be using the corkscrew and bottle opener features.
One 30GB Mp3 player.
We all need music on the move. 100+ CD's on it so far.
One first aid kit
Containing bandages, scissors, antibiotic cream, anti itch cream amongst other items. Special thanks goes to Justin and
Sarah who added anti dihorreal tablets, rehydration sachets and condoms to the above list. A welcome but surely unhealthy
interest in my sexual and lavatorial well being on their part.
One Sony DSC P100 digital camera 5.1 M pixels
A great digital camera, small enough to fit into my trouser or shirt pocket. Annoyingly enough, the 5.1 M pixels
are slow to download from the website, I'm told so I'm changing the picture format to 3.2M pixels from now on.
Two small Notebooks
For taking notes, what else?
Mobile phone
Toiletries bag
Padlock
One 36 ltr ruck sack
A pack safe wire mesh for locking my rucksack into.
A small pair of binoculars
Insurance documents (240 quid Direct Line 365 day travel cover)
My plane tickets (14 in all)
All in all i'm carrying about 10 kg. Not bad eh?
